Dr. Mazhar Bari
Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Dr. Bari holds a PhD & MPhil in Physics from the University of Cambridge (1996), BSc(HONS) in experimental Physics from University College Dublin (1991), MBA Smurfit School of Business, Dublin (2003). He was the programme manager of a €6M SFI funded research project on Nanoscale Spin Electronics (2001-2006). His core expertise is in nanomaterials, thin film device fabrication and device physics.
Roy Horgan
Business Development Director, Co-Founder
Mr. Horgan holds a B.Sc. in finance and a Dipl. in Stockbroking. Prior to SolarPrint he worked in private banking where he either led or has been involved in over €2bn of transactions in Ireland, Europe and North America. As Business Development Director, Mr. Horgan is responsible for the commercial development of the company.
Rory Timlin
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Timlin is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of SolarPrint’s research and development, production scaling, planning and business development activities. He holds a BComm in Commerce and French from University College Dublin. Prior to SolarPrint, Mr. Timlin was a senior manager with Accenture, where he focused on the business development and the delivery of large scale projects in the Systems’ Integration and Technology Group.
Donal Murphy
Finance Director
Mr. Murphy's responsibilities include internal financial reporting to the board of directors and to the executive management team, liaison with the company's auditors, investors, bankers and statutory authorities. Mr. Murphy is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a B.Sc. in Business Management. Prior to joining SolarPrint, Mr. Murphy was an audit senior with PKF O’ Connor, Leddy & Holmes where he was responsible for auditing a broad range of small to medium sized companies.
