Research and Development

We believe that continuous innovation is the only way to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage going forward.
SolarPrint has built a truly multidisciplinary R&D team consisting of chemists, engineers, materials scientists and physicists to underpin and further develop our technology roadmap.
The goal of SolarPrint is to engage and collaborate with the best research groups in Ireland
and across Europe.
The aspiration is that SolarPrint will be a driver for innovative PV technologies internationally.
It is also our intention to attract more skilled scientists within our academic structure in Ireland and abroad and encourage them to take up the development of 3rd generation PV technologies.
SolarPrint has been backed by Enterprise Ireland and is collaborating with a number of universities including University College Dublin, Dublin City University, Trinity College and University of Limerick, London to develop Ireland’s first solar manufacturing facility
We are also well on the way to completing a next-generation collaborative network that will leverage the full potential of our global R&D resources to dramatically accelerate time-to-market.
Our continued success ultimately depends on the vision and quality of our people, we are now developing a world class HRM system to attract and retain the world’s top talent. We believe our future is in very good hands.
